App name: Daftar (دفتر الديون)

App ID: app.nagarix.daftar

Version: 1.0.0

1. In short

Your ledger stays on your phone: your customers’ and suppliers’ names and numbers, debts and payments are stored on your device only, and none of it is uploaded to any server of ours.

There is no account and no sign-in. The app is a record book and reminder tool only: it does not lend, pay or transfer money, and it connects to no bank or wallet.

Reminder messages leave from WhatsApp or the messaging app on your phone, and you press “Send” for every message.

2. What the app stores on your device

Type Content
Shop Shop name, phone, currency and message style
Customers and suppliers Names and phone numbers you type or pick from contacts, due dates, and the date of the last reminder
Entries Debts and payments with amounts, dates and notes, and invoice photos you take
Messages Message templates, and the history of batch reminder queues (who was reminded and when)
Created files Statements (PDF or image) and Excel files, kept in the app’s private storage until you choose to share them

3. WhatsApp and SMS

When you tap “WhatsApp reminder” or “Batch send”, the app opens the customer’s chat in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business with the message written in it, and the statement attached if you choose, and you press “Send”. In a batch, the app moves to the next customer when you come back to it.

  • The app does not use Accessibility services and never taps anything for you.
  • It never reads your chats or messages.
  • It does not request the SMS-sending permission: the “SMS” option opens your phone’s messaging app with the text ready.

What you send through WhatsApp or SMS is governed by that app’s policy.

4. What the app does not do

  • It does not upload your ledger, or your customers’ names, numbers or amounts, to any server.
  • It asks for no account, email or phone number.
  • It does not sell or share your data with anyone.
  • It does not lend, transfer money or collect payments from customers.

5. Permissions

Permission Why
Notifications, rescheduling after a restart To remind you, on the day and time you choose, that customers are due for a reminder, and on a customer’s due date. Times are calculated on your phone
Camera (through the camera app) Only when you choose to photograph an invoice and attach it to an entry
Contacts Only when you tap “Pick from contacts” or “Import”; only the names and numbers you pick are taken
Fingerprint or PIN lock If you turn it on, your phone’s system checks it; the app never accesses your fingerprint
Internet and advertising ID Ads in the free version, the subscription, backup, and crash reports (in the versions that include them)

Every optional permission can be refused or withdrawn in phone settings, and the rest of the app keeps working.

6. Backup

You can export your data to an Excel file you save yourself. With the subscription, if you turn on Google Drive backup, the backup is kept in an app-private space inside your own Google Drive account, which we cannot access.

7. Ads and purchases

The free version may show ads from Google AdMob in the versions that include them, after asking for your consent where required. No ad appears while you record a debt or payment, and a full-screen ad appears only after a batch reminder queue finishes. We send Google nothing from your ledger.

The subscription is handled entirely by Google Play billing; the app only asks Google Play whether your account has an active subscription, and we never see payment details. We use no server or third-party service for subscriptions.

8. Crash reports and analytics

In the versions that include them, we use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports (device type, OS version and the error trace) and Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage events such as “batch sent” or “statement created”. These contain no names, phone numbers, amounts or anything from your ledger.

9. Deleting your data

All your data is on your phone only, so:

  1. Delete any customer or entry inside the app at any time.
  2. Or uninstall the app, or clear its data in Android settings (Apps → Daftar → Storage → Clear data), and everything is deleted immediately.
  3. A Google Drive backup, if any, is deleted from your own Google Drive.

We keep no data about you on our servers. Ad and crash data collected by Google is governed by Google’s policies and we cannot link it to you.

10. Children

The app is meant for shop and business owners aged 18 or over, and is not directed at children.

11. Data security

Your data lives in the app’s private storage, which Android isolates from other apps; you can lock the app with your fingerprint or PIN, and all connections to Google services use encrypted HTTPS.

12. Changes to this policy

Any update that adds a feature collecting data or using the network will come with an update to this policy before the feature ships, with a new “Last updated” date at the top.
